****Update 18th July*** Submissions to this year’s festival are now closed, thanks to all the filmmakers that have submitted their films to us this year. If you have something that you have just finisher or just about to finish or a recent awarding winning film that you just not had time to submit by the deadline then you may apply to us for a deadline waiver. However, you would need to send us a link to preview the film first before we offer you the waiver. Please note that only the highest quality of work will be accepted for a deadline waiver and the maximum length will be 15 mins.

We are still accepting short film submissions for this years festival, the 14th edition. You can submit your short films produced after January 2016 on FilmFreeway and on Withoutabox. All entries will close this month so be quick. We have some discount codes as follows available on Withoutabox and FilmFreeway. For those not on either of these sites you can also submit to our festival on Festhome and on Festivalfocus (the latter being FREE entries to our 3 min film competition only).
Please note submissions close on all sites on the 15th July but we have great offers for the last few days of submissions. Until 15th July on FilmFreeway you can submit using the discount code of ” 30percentKino ” (we have extended it) for 30% off. Short films can also be submitted on Withoutabox to the Extended Deadline of 15th July using the current 30% off code – ” kino06 “.
Remember, for those not on either of these sites you can also submit to our festival until 15th July on Festhome for just $27.50 using the 50% discount waiver 217c-305-595ad9bc and on Festivalfocus for FREE entries to our 3 min film competition only.

Dates are now confirmed as 20th – 26th November 2017 and submissions will be extended until the 1st July 2017. The earlier you submit the best discount you get. We look forward to seeing all your entries.
