Kino’s 20th anniversary touring programme starts next week, two screenings in our first week of the tour. This is our second screening and our second time in collaboration with Albert Film Club in Didsbury.
The Albert invite anyone to attend a specially curated touring programme of the “Best of Kinofilm Festival” at the Albert Club on Sunday 28th September at 7.30pm.
Kinofilm promotes short films from across the UK and Europe. It is the North West of England’s longest running Short Film Festival and in May this year the 20th Edition of the festival took place in Manchester.
The programme of films to be shown at the Albert Club will include a selection from this year’s award-winning and nominated short films. They will be specially curated to give the audience an overview of some of the best films from this year’s European Festival. The programme will also include shorts from the UK and the North West as well as animated shorts and films made by women directors.
As a bonus we are intending to provide the opportunity to discuss film making with local film makers in a Question-and-Answer session after the screenings.
