At last we are about to bring you the second part of our Covid postponed 2020 festival as our second live ‘in person’ Festival this Autumn. This follows hot on the heals of our International section (part 1 of 2020) which went online back in May – and was repeated as a flash pop up festival last month in Withington, Manchester.

We are now so excited to finally present Part 2, which is off course the British section of the festival in this specific British Shorts Film Festival focusing on home grown talent and taking place from 19th – 26th October at the Chapeltown Picture House, 50 Red Bank, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M4 4HF. In addition we will be opening the festival with our partner European programmes at the Cervantes Institute Manchester, this will be the Spanish Shorts programme on Tuesday 19th October in association with the Instituto Cervantes followed by the Italian Shorts programme on Wednesday 20th October in association with the Dante Alighieri  – both programmes will start at 6.30pm (doors open 6pm).

We will also be giving audiences the chance to see the International Awards Winners programme from the online May edition when you can see a selection of some of International Shorts that won the awards in this year’s Kino fest.

Accreditations; Participating filmmakers with a film in the festival or industry representatives please go here to register for your accreditation.

Finally, we are pleased to announce our closing film will be Chris Green’s latest feature film The Pebble and the Boy on Tuesday 26th October, see their facebook page for more info. We’ll be inviting director Chris Green and producer Michael Knowles to talk about their journeys with this wonderful British feature currently doing big business in UK Cinemas. We will also have a Sunday matinee of the film on 24th October at 4.15pm
